<p>“<strong><em>I can</em></strong>” statements work best to write statements that give you encouragement when it comes to achieving your goals, while “<em><strong>I will</strong></em>” statements work best for actually using your abilities to achieve the goals.</p>
<h3><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Step Five: Make Statements Visible</span></span></strong></h3>
<p>Once you have your list of affirmations for success, love, or even confidence you will need to choose three or four to use when reaching your goals.</p>
<p>Place these affirmations in a highly visible location; you will want to look at them several times a day. The affirmations need to be visible because repetition is the key to successful using this method to reprogram your subconscious mind.</p>
<p>When making the statements visible you have several different methods you can use, including writing them on 3 x 5 cards and placing them somewhere you will see them every day or you can even write the statements down each day inside a journal.</p>
<p>Now that you know how to use positive affirmations for success you will need to figure out how long to continue using each statement.</p>
<p>How long you use a specific statement is going to depend on how long it takes to reprogram your subconscious mind.</p>
<p>If you are trying to complete a goal, you simply use the statement until you have succeeded in achieving the goal. If you are trying to change how you think about yourself, you can use them until you believe the new statement.</p>
